Working for the Weekend

If you follow me on Instagram, you'll notice that my outfit posts (which are few and far between during the work week) are typically casual looking. The reason being is that I work at a preschool so dressing up is not very practical. My work attire usually consists of khakis, tees and flats or tennis shoes. Here a are few of my workday outfits this past week.

On another note, can I say enough of the rain already! In the surrounding areas and where I live, we have seen tons of rain. This is a pic taking in my parent's backyard on Thursday evening. We got 2 in of rain in less than an hour! It is crazy how much rain we have gotten over the past month. Some areas have even experienced some flooding!

 

Our lake is above full pool (something we haven't seen in years) and so is the river. On Thursday, the Army Corp of Engineers tested the flood gates on the Strom Thurmond Dam. I didn't get a chance to see it in person but I enjoyed seeing other people's pictures and videos of the event. Here's a picture taken by the local news station.
